There are no words to describe the things we learned and things we did during our time here. We as Catholics often look at the Mass as a habit, but it not a habit. It is so much more, and I learned that from my time at Meinrad and have taken that and shared it with others. Emily Perkins OBOC College Intern/Assistant Director Indianapolis, IN
Saint Meinrad has become a home-away-from-home for me. Just stepping foot on the campus brings a calming peace over me that is hard to replicate anywhere else. I think that Saint Meinrad has had that affect on most of the people who have been drawn to it. It truly is a holy place, and that permeates the atmosphere for all who are willing to enter into it. Debra Wilker OBOC College Intern Ball State University Muncie, IN
I had no idea what I wanted to do, but after my first year of internship I saw how my faith grew and how much I loved working in this manner with people. Meinrad will always be there as a place to build my faith and love in God. Ben Howard OBOC College Intern Brescia University Owensboro, KY
I left “One Bread One Cup” with a greater understanding of what the liturgy means in my own life. Keith Fehrenbacher OBOC College Intern Youth Minister Dale, IN
The conference itself teaches young people what it is to be Catholic. Saint Meinrad allows youth to understand that being a “church goer” can mean that you laugh, sing, clap and smile while you pray. Phillip Dezern Youth Minister Ada, MI
I never expected to come out of this experience a different person with a greater understanding of the Mass and Eucharist, but that is what happened. Becca Spurlock OBOC Participant Owensboro, KY
OBOC has touched so many of the youth in our parish in a dramatic way. It is very exciting to see our youth empowered with the Holy Spirit. Brenda Crockett Parent of OBOC Participant Georgetown, IN
